Elite 12  is based on Tennis Canada’s Competition Stream program, focusing on the LTAD  (Long Term Athlete Development) Stage 3 “Developing” for Girls and Boys ages 8-12.

The major focus of the program is to develop a solid foundation of technical, tactical, physical and psychological fundamentals and prepare the athletes for stage #4 “Consolidating” (ages 12-15) and Stage #5 “Learn to Perform” (ages 15-18).   

The coaches’ commitment to excellence consists of the following:

  • Create a consistent high performance environment while focusing the attention to detail that goes into managing a player.
  • The relentlessness requirement to develop great habits.

You must attend the evaluation session in Sept to gain acceptance into this program and you must be a junior member of the club.

2 hours of fitness, 3 hours of coaching and 2 hours of practise match time every week
